Depeche Mode – Wrong

I embraced this song when I first heard it on the radio simply because it had a, “catchy beat.”

Once I found out it was from one of the bands I listened to in high school, I was enamored. It has joined the ranks of favorites on my iPod.

Now that I have seen the actual lyrics, I am even more impressed with the song.

I watched the video today, and was a little confused by it. Reading the lyrics, it seemed as though the song is about someone that is Bipolar or has ADD/ADHD. Watching the video it looks more like someone that is trapped in a Saw like situation.

What are your thoughts?

Who is Robert Towels and WHAT is Efusjon energy drink?

A colleague of mine recently asked me to look into Efusjon.

My first issue was the name. WHY spell it like this?

He sent me the link to his page and I decided to start poking around.

I checked out www.efusjon.com as well as the highest ranked and apparently most common Efusjon website listed as www.myefusjon.com and my colleagues page www.myefusjon.com/spartlow.

Now, as my friend explained this is an MLM or (Multi Level Marketing).

For those not familiar see: Amway.

I hear of tales of Facbook.com co-op, Oprah (other names as well, of major endorsers) and major numbers of reps already selling this product.

So I, in my regular fashion, I start compiling information on the site efusjon.com.

Anyone want to guess how many unique visitors are going to their website from Facebook?

2.96% of their TOTAL traffic.

What is their TOTAL traffic?

12,781 unique visitors (as of Arpil 2009)

378 people went there from Facebook!

Wait! How many Representatives for this company have a Facebook*?

*There are certain lines I will not cross. Joining Facebook is one of them.

OK, stats out of the way.

CERTAINLY NOT IMPRESSIVE TO ME, perhaps because I did not look at the MOST popular site?

Not really, the numbers for that site are less impressive.

The company has a management company in Jackson, MS. (Listed as Miller Management)

Yet the corporate website places them in Bend, OR.

Their IP is out of Miami, FL.

The CEO is named as Robert Towels.

WHO is this guy? Does anyone know?

I can see I need to make a few phone calls and send out some emails for more indepth information.

On a side note: I ran across this HORRIBLY produced and quite laughable video of someone that has NO public (or private) speaking skills what-so-ever, trying to denounce the way this company sells its product.
